The evening culminated in a procession to the beach for the much-anticipated Blessing of the Sea.
Following this sacred time, we had benediction at the fountain, before coming together for food and fellowship in our community center.
This incredible night was made possible by the efforts of countless volunteers, each contributing their unique talents and dedication. While it would be impossible to name everyone who played a role, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to those who made it happen. A special thank you goes to our setup crew, the decorating team, the food donation and serving crews, and the cleanup crew.
We are grateful to Dave Gauthier for organizing the night; to our Knights of Columbus Honor Guard, including Ben DiLorenzo, Pat Hamel, and Norman McDonald Jr.; and to our Altar Servers, under the guidance of Steve Hymel. A big shout-out to Steve Meyer, Sean and Tobin Loftus, and Eli Hymel for carrying the canopy, and to the Diocese of Biloxi Seminarians—Jacob Lott, Ricky Molsbee, Adam Tran, and Abe Goulet—for serving as our torch-bearers. Our Choir, led by the talented Lauren Hymel, filled the air with beautiful melodies, while Readers Robert Bass, Patti Salvador, and Steven Mink brought the scriptures to life.
A heartfelt thank you to our First Communion Class for leading the way, and to Deacon Buddy, Deacon Jerry, Father Satish, and Father Braxton for their spiritual guidance throughout the evening.
To everyone who contributed, whether in big or small ways, and to all who participated, thank you for making this night truly unforgettable! It was a beautiful evening as our community united in prayer, faith, and gratitude, seeking God’s blessings over the waters that nourish and sustain us.
